Let’s talk about it.
You were doing great.
HTML? Easy. Tags, structure, done.
CSS? A little tricky at first, but once you got it? Chef’s kiss.
Then you found Bootstrap — oof, now your sites look clean without breaking a sweat.
You were starting to feel like a legit dev.
You were building stuff. Seeing results. Getting hyped.
And then... JavaScript enters the chat.
And everything goes downhill.
Suddenly you're staring at your screen like:
“Wait… what even is this??”
“Why isn’t anything working?”
“What the heck is a function? A variable? A loop??”
“I clicked the button — why is nothing happening???”
You Google stuff. You copy-paste things that kinda work but you don’t know why.
You feel like you're learning another language — because you are.
And slowly, that confidence you had starts slipping.
Guess what?
EVERYONE feels this.
You're not broken.
You're not dumb.
You're not “bad at JavaScript.”
You’re just at that stage.
The awkward, frustrating, pull-your-hair-out stage that everyone goes through.
And no one really talks about it.
See, HTML and CSS are like drawing.
JavaScript is like math — logic, puzzles, thinking in steps. It’s a different part of your brain.
That shift is hard.
It’s confusing.
It’s slow.
And it can make you feel like giving up.
But you’re not alone.
We’ve all had those nights where we:
- Refresh the page 57 times for no reason
- Talk to the console like it’s a person
- Think about quitting and becoming a full-time Canva designer instead
But here’s the thing:
That struggle? It means you’re doing it right.
No one becomes good at JavaScript overnight.
You’re literally training your brain to think differently. That takes time, patience, and practice.
And yeah — it takes a few breakdowns too.
But the more you stick with it…
The more things start to click.
And once they do?
You’ll look back and laugh at how scary it felt.
So if you're stuck — good.
That means you're learning.
Keep going.
Mess things up.
Break stuff.
Yell at your screen.
Google everything.
Ask dumb questions (they're not dumb, btw).
And remember — you are NOT alone.
This is the part where devs are made.
And you're already in it. 🔥
Charge aayi!!!!!
